peeps,
we've got a 3 year old female for adoption to ONLY GOOD and PERMANENT home.
and you all know, when we say "good", we really mean good and we are extremely picky about it.
if your reasons for adoption is "because Huskies are expensive to buy" then don't even bother writing in.

you must have adequate time & space for the dog. also, you must be able to afford spending at least RM300 a month for the dog. other than that, don't bother writing in as well.

we wish to rehome the dog to a family that has NO dogs, or with a dog. because Zsa Zsa is very shy and timid.

here's her story:

Quote:

I have a 3 year old Husky Zsa Zsa who I need to put up for adoption to
the right home. She is fully house trained , spayed , trained in basic
obedience by a professional trainer and vaccinated etc and an absolute
angel in all ways.

The problem is I have other dogs too and she does not get along with
any of them. Her special friend Taka (a chow chow) died one month ago
and the others are guard dogs who she is frightened of . This is
making her growl at them because she is scared. This sets them off
and she has already received one nasty bite. I don't want any more
accidents like this. She has always been frightened of the guard dogs
but she had Taka and so it was not so much of a problem before.

I put an advert through the pet finder but so far the people who have
wanted to take her I feel may not realize the special needs a husky
has. It is very important to me she goes to a good permanent home and
do hope you may have someone on your site who would be willing to
adopt her.

Zsa Zsa is very much loved and it is because of this we are trying to
solve this problem . Separating dogs out in the house is not really a
fair or a good solution and I have never been in the habit of caging
up dogs. Right now we do an upstairs - downstairs turn taking
arrangement to keep every one safe.

I do hope the husky club has a member who would love to take on a
mature husky.

Thank you for any help and advise you can give.

first of all, i dun understand why do u guys need to see a picture of the dog.
if your decision to adopt is based solely on how the dog look like and not her health or otherwise, then i'm worried...

basically, i've seen Zsa Zsa and Zsa Zsa is a perfectly healthy dog.
she's grey & white with blue eyes.
a bit over weight now, but that can be managed with more exercise and put on a diet.

she is 4 years old. and the reason why Clara have to give her away is because her 2 Rottweilers are all out to kill Zsa Zsa. Taka (Clara's chow-chow who passed away last September) was the pack's lead dog. and ever since her passing, Zsa Zsa has been left alone "unprotected" by Taka. Clara's 2 Rottweilers are "fighting" for pack leadership now.

Clara and her husband are both elderly who love their dogs dearly. they even had a professional dog trainer go over to their house on a daily basis for the last 3 weeks to try to fix the situation. but the moment the trainer leaves, the Rotties are at Zsa Zsa's neck again.

the best possible solution now is to give Zsa Zsa away to a better home. because giving away 2 Rottweilers are going to be more difficult.

those who are interested, please write in.
at least tell me that you're interested to talk.
